Drafting machine is used in engineering graphics or engineering design which is also known as "Drafter". It is helpfull instrument for designer to draft any design in
drawing Sheet.
Usage:
The drafting machine has all advantages and uses of T square,set square, scale.
First drafting machine is arranged at one corner of the drawing board and tight screw at that corner and then arrange the drawing paper .
After doing that fix the scale (both side of scale ) with angle as requirement and tight the screw of scale ,now angle of scale is fixed. Then all lines which are drawen by that scale of drafter are parallel and also in Required angle
You are noticed another scale with that scale at 90° is for draw perpendicular line at 90° with required angle
Advantages :
If we want to draw line at 30 degree ,60 degree or 90 degree (upper side) compered to required angle drawen by use of set square putting on main scale
Disadvantages:
It requires more practice for draw with perfection and for manage it
