why diesel engine does not require spark plug 

• Diesel engine does not require spark plug because main purpose of sparkplug is to compression of air in fuel for combustion. 
• Now diesel is already have some amount of air present which is good enough for combustion with more pressure and temperature .so diesel engine gets injector on cylinderhead which is spray diesel in cylinder for burning and produce power through combustion of diesel

• अब डीजल में पहले से ही कुछ मात्रा में हवा मौजूद है जो अधिक दबाव और तापमान के साथ दहन के लिए पर्याप्त है। डीजल इंजन को सिलेंडरहेड पर इंजेक्टर मिलता है जो जलने के लिए सिलेंडर में डीजल स्प्रे करता है और डीजल के दहन के माध्यम से बिजली पैदा करता है.
